We set a record recently…
26 homes. That’s right—26 homes shown before my sweet clients found the one. And now, I’m so excited to share that they’re officially in their dream home! Cue the confetti!
This journey with them was a testament to patience, perseverance, and trusting the process. We saw a lot of homes, faced a few disappointments, but ultimately found a house that was perfect for them. Through it all, there were a few key pieces of advice I shared with them that might help if you’re in the same boat.
1. Home buying is hard and overwhelming.
Let’s be real—finding the right home can be tough. It’s okay to feel frustrated, tired, and even a little overwhelmed. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! This is one of the biggest decisions of your life, and the journey might not always be smooth. But here’s the thing: you should be so proud of yourself for sticking it out. You’re one step closer to that dream home.
2. Waiting for the perfect home is worth it.
It can be tempting to settle for “good enough,” especially after looking at so many homes. But trust me, that magical moment when you walk into the perfect space, the one where you can see your future unfolding, is what we’re working toward. Just imagine the feeling of laying in bed on your first night in your new home, looking around at your surroundings and knowing it was all worth it. That’s the moment we’re chasing, so don’t settle.
3. Work with an agent who’s truly on your team.
You need an agent who’s in your corner, someone who’s more than just a salesperson. You’ll be able to feel the difference between someone pushing you through the system and an agent who genuinely cares about your future. Find someone who listens to you, who understands your needs, and who’s ready to go the extra mile to make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for.
Buying a home may not always be easy, but it’s one of the most rewarding things you’ll ever do. I can’t wait to help you on your journey, whether we’re touring one home or 26! It’s going to be so much fun, I promise.
